Still... a ?200 service on a ?1200+ printer is a lot more affordable than a
?200 service on a ?300 printer ;)

There are a lot of tales on various groups, particularly US based, that the
Epson repair engineers had seemingly not even read the repair manual. Screws
left loose in cases etc, cutter falling off 7000 etc etc.  Nasty.

Clearly, there is a balance here between protecting your business through
enabling yourself to fix problems, vs backup machines, vs bulletproof and
reliable (if sometimes costly) services or extended warranties.
