On the Mac it produced the most beautiful prints, it was OK with Win98,
but never as good. Since moving to W2K / XP the results are awful. I am
certain it is a driver / profile issue, but as I have the latest XP
drivers, I am lost for ideas. Anyone have any suggestions? I would like
to be able to use it, convert it to pigment ink or just sell it, but it
is a criminal waste sitting on a shelf.
Dear Nick

Seems rather strange if you have the latest drivers...you say awful but in what way exactly? We have had ours for several years, running first on NT then on Win2K works on ME too Ugh! Results are really excellent.

We bought it to run with Best Color Proof, which now the system is all sorted it does very well producing nice contract proofs. We swapped it over to specially imported wide gamut inks with great stability straight out of the printer. None of that needing to wait hours for the prints to stop shifting!

Cheers

Richard
