Morton,
How can I keep my own custom actions in the actions palette when restarting Photoshop 7 and make them default? I have just made the transition to OS X (10.2.3) and PS 7.0.1 and have recorded several new actions, and saved them using the Save Actions command in the menu, not to loose them in case of a crash. I saved the set to the Presets>Photoshop Actions folder as suggested by the manual, but I still have to load them every time I start PS7. How can I make my actions default without having to load them every time? I have also tried to delete the original set which for some reason keeps showing up in PS 7 every time I start it, even though I have deleted it several times because it only contains duplicates of the first few actions I recorded. Is this one of the cases where trashing the preferences might work? Any suggestions?
I've been using X and 7 for a while and last week I got a set of actions from one of our guys, for a specific job, loaded them and the same thing happened.not there the following day, so next time I loaded them, then quit photoshop and reopened it, and they've been there ever since.
My osx doesn't crash but becomes sticky as the day wears on..I do think the permanent internet connection has some effect.
Try the usual verify and repair privileges route.seems to be a cure all on mine
One problem I cant solve is that I can see and be seen on the network for file transfer but with the rendezvous software I cant see any other machines but they can send me messages and then I can reply......lots to learn
