The following link is useful for finding informattion regarding the import
of items, and finding the tariff for any given item.

http://www.sloanefox.freeserve.co.uk/importukduty.htm

If you scroll down the page till you see the heading "What rate of duty will
I have to pay? " and follow the instructions.

It will open up the TARIC code finder for any item. Searching through it
gives a figure for the duty on that item.

Digital cameras seem to be taxed at 4.2%.
