Intro & resume of shooting digital - Owned D1X for 20 months and shot approx 30,000 mostly NEFs or 310 CDs worth. I've still got a 35mm roll of provia in my F100 from last feb (!) so I'm truly hooked to digital, even My Mamiya RZ67 has only had 30 rolls through it in the last year. I shoot mostly cars for magazines and manufacturers. I've lost 2-3 frames only in that time due to turning off camera before writing to card is finished; and that includes not losing images from a Microdrive which I dropped from a 10 ft ladder onto a studio floor! Biggest headache has been burning so many CDs and coping with "jaggies" on diagonal lines on red cars and chrome. (my solution: duplicate layer, apply motion blur 10-20 in same direction as diagonal lines and use layer mask to apply to relevant areas). Question - Might be classified as a "doh".... I'm switching (at last!) to PS7 and can't work out where the "opacity" is activated for brush dynamics (I'm using wacom tablet). I can see "shape dynamics" and have got "other dynamics" ticked Another question - Epson 980 printer refuses to print from PS7 & 6 saying "no memory left" despite there being 400mb of ram still available (OS 9.1 on dual G4 450 & also on PBG4 500 OS9.2.1) A restart doesn't sort it =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
