I've used the medium format panoramic cameras (fuji/linof etc) with the central N.D (which is a part of the camera system- bizzare that 'blad do not supply this as a freebi with the camera!), and apart from when looking for that darkened edges effect, its kindof a standard. Yup, there are ways and means in Photoshop; but if I were you I'd go get the filter......You will wonder how you managed without it!
