A quick look at the archives revealed very little, though it seems Mike
"Mouse" has raised a similar query. On the phone to Adobe tech support
yesterday I was very surprised by their admission that batch renaming is
still pretty clunky: and the advice given to me by a charming French (?)
lady who talked me through it proved incorrect, too...
Is there really no way I can quickly & easily batch rename a folder of
files, specifying the number to start with? This seems extraordinary, and
highly unsatisfactory. What the hell am I supposed to do - do hundreds of
the bloody things one by one? has anyone devised a workaround..?
Regards, Tony H
