Actually, Adobe tech support may not know this because it's undocumented but Marc Pawliger said this: "you enter a name component as, say, #000123# which means "a 6 digit serial starting at 123", "#05#" which means "a 2 digit serial starting at 5", etc." So, in fact you can enter any starting number in a series that you wish.
