Hi Bob You have my whole hearted admiration. I couldn't see JPEG artifarts at 100%. Time to get new specs, methunks. --/ Shangara Singh >> Dear Shangara I think it depends on the type of subject. This was a picture with good sharp middle ground and a slightly fuzzy and confused background. The artifacts showed in the fuzzy areas but not in the sharp areas. The most noticeable were when detail of 4 - 8 pixels were against a background of at least double that amount. This was also Jpegging twice remember which is what would happen in a typical stock photo scenario if the masters were stored as jpegs. I cheated and looked at 200% and having seen where the artifacts were could see them at 100%.
