You have my whole hearted admiration. I couldn't see JPEG artifarts at 100%.

I think it depends on the type of subject. This was a picture with good sharp 
middle ground and a slightly fuzzy and confused background. The artifacts 
showed in the fuzzy areas but not in the sharp areas. The most noticeable 
were when detail of 4 - 8 pixels were against a background of at least double 
that amount. This was also Jpegging twice remember which is what would happen 
in a typical stock photo scenario if the masters were stored as jpegs.

I cheated and looked at 200% and having seen where the artifacts were could 
see them at 100%.
