If PS8 is that far away & Adobe Raw is fast and good on macs then it is worth buying the plugin now. For too long we've all worked with crappy Dslr software. On macs anything has to an improvement over Nikon Capture 3+ (actually not too bad but still slow & clunky) and the newly released but deeply flawed Bibble 3. I always compare my various Dslr s/w to the Betterlight camera sw which for me is a model of a simple and efficient workflow. No frills, very stable & runs in 30mb ram but handles the workflow of very large files. Built by people who listen to their customers.
