Caroline, I'm pretty sure someone will answer your call for help with Viewscan.
However, if this would be of any help, there are some newsgroups and filmscanners list where Viewscans user gathers. Please do not take this as a reflection of this list!!! On Usenet there is comp.periphs.scanners The developper of Viewscan, Ed Hamrick monitors this list and answers questions related to his software. Its not as tidy as this list though. And then there is UK based http://www.cix.co.uk/~tsphoto/tech/filmscan/maillist.htm where Viewscan amoungst other scanning related subject is being discussed. Good luck with Viewscan. You'll find that it is one of those great bargain deals are far as software goes.
