"Whose problem?", you ask. Well, it's yours (and ours, actually). 

Digital has been likened to the introduction of colour film. I
understand that everyone who used it at first had to experiment, and
change lighting & exposure techniques to accommodate the new technology.


All the training and experience we gained from courses & bosses was
distilled from years of accumulated experience. We've probably all had
an employer say, "Forget your formulas, the quick way to calculate
bellows extension is....." or "Develop Tri-X for 11 minutes at 1:1."

We are in the enviable position of accumulating new knowledge to pass
efficiencies onto future generations of photographers. 

Lucky, aren't we.

ps. I wonder if Edward Weston or Ansel Adams would have been Prodig
subscribers?
