Hi David

I was about to look into it when Jack's post arrived...I formatted my drives
in OS 9 ages ago and have had no problems seeing them in OS X 10.2.4. I
don't remember installing OS X drivers. If push comes to shove, I suppose
you can always try formatting in OS 9.
