Good day,

Yesterday a client called me up - she was having problems
printing B&W to her Epson 2200 printer. She was quite
frustrated with the entire process. I dropped by and
profiled her system, short of profiling her ink / paper
combination on the 2200. We'll see if she wants to pay for
that service too. However, in the interest of being "close,"
I used BA's 7600 / 9600 Enhanced Matte profile which is
certainly closer than none. Using Matte Black ink.

Typical settings - using the source colour space (typically
Adobe RBG 1998), target colour space (BA's 9600 Enhanced
Matte), monitored properly profiled using Spyder, etc. etc.
I ran a number of tests, and each time, a green cast was
evident in the prints. File does not have any green in it -
confirmed with the Info and ran it through as greyscale too.

Has anyone experienced problems of this nature with the
2200? The green cast is evident in colour prints too. Very
bizarre. I'm starting to think it's a hardware problem.
Using latest 2200 drivers and monitor.

TIA.
