That's an interpolated 13MP from a 6MP sensor in the case of the Fuji and its quality benefits over a straight 6MP are very debatable. I've run a quite a few side by side tests and there was very little to choose between the cameras in terms of quality. There is certainly nothing wrong with the image quality and particularly the colour from the S2 though. You may want to consider Canon customer service, or rather lack of it at times, as a more important factor in deciding which camera to get.
