This is a reply to a post from Neil Barstow that suggested to have a look to this Photoshop plugin for removing noise/grain from scanned images.
Thanks for the info, its the simplest and most efficient way to remove grain from film that I've ever tested. I had to remove grain from a 30x30mm portion of a 6x7 Provia 100F scanned to be printed at 35x35cm. It was a portrait of a kid and the grain was so evident compared to the rest of the photographs on the same brochure.
