The pc is a intel pentium 4, 2.6ghz and 1.5gb ram. The power supply is as supplied with the scanner by Bodoni, and is a Protek model PUP55-32 rated at max output of 45W. The system will boot with SCSI card installed, the boot only fails if the scanner is switched on when booting. I don't know the answer to your questions about the motherboard, up till now I have left all that stuff to the engineers, but now I am thiking I need to get some understanding of what's what re hardware!
