Hi Ellie, I tried this approach, went to the device manager and scanned for hardware changes, and at that point the computer hangs and I had to restart. I tried again in case I had just hit a glitch, same result again. I had installed the software, and I can launch it, but it does not open with the main preview/scan colorflex window, it opens a capture window. According to Lee at Bodoni this means the software cannot find the scanner. The software supplied with the scanner is not the latest version, and I will be downloading that from Imacon's website later today. However I don't think that will make any difference to the failure to boot situation I have.
