The current situation seems to have Lee struggling to figure out what is going wrong. On Wednesday next week, if Lee or I have not solved the problem before then, I am taking the scanner and pc to my hardware man in Inverness, link up with Lee by phone, and try and track down between us why there is a boot problem.
Many thanks again Richard for your help, if nothing else, at least I have learned a few things from this problem!
