hey thanks for all that - just a couple of questions...

The mac I've got is a superdrive powerbook that has 400 and 800 firewire and
2 hi-speed USB 2.0 ports. Sorry to be dim, but is the card (firewire or USB)
something I need regardless of these ports - or is there a firewire that
goes straight from the camera to computer?

As for iView Media - I think I've already got that and can just install it
on the mac - cheers.

Thanks very much,

Becky
