thanks to all who've replied - so have I got this right - I can either have:
1. A firewire lead that connects straight from camera to mac 2. A USB 1 or 2 (presuming I have the connection, which I do) lead that goes straight from camera to mac 3. Or a card reader (does that read the microdrive?) that connects to the computer via USB (1, 2 or both?) ...and it seems that the best option is number 3. will all these things work with my PC as well as my mac?
