There is a very good reason why people spend �299 on C1 software. Although you might use canon software my 1ds included a free trial disk for C1 and a recommendation from Canon to use it. Put simply it works a lot better. I am not sure about the new PS RAW options but I don't personally know a 1ds user who doesn't use C1 even after they had bought Adobe Raw.

Still like the camera though.
I'll see if I can get hold of a 1ds (still thinking of getting one) and run some further tests with different software export programs.
