Could be an extensions conflict peculiar to your OS 9 install only. You
could invest in Conflict Catcher and spend hours and hours trying to find
the thorny extension or upgrade to Panther, spend an hour or so installing
it and boot into it only when you need to use the scanner, if the Minolta is
a must-have. Should also lay the groundwork for upgrading to Photoshop CS
and then you can really treat yourself by buying a hot selling Essential
Tips eBook by you-know-who!
