Happy new year to all, I am considering installing raided (0 striped) hard drives to work with my G4 running 10.2.6. and am wondering if PS CS will benefit from this over and above using multiple scratch disks. On a broader note, does anyone have comments on the current thinking re small raid set up with regard to:
Firewire vs scsi vs ide (other than the obvious cost differences) Is the software raid included in OS 10.2.6 any good for performance enhancement, or is hardware raid the only realistic option? (It would be nice to hear of any working solutions..)
