Hello

Anyone remember me complaining about the dilaog box warning me each time I
tried to save a file from the Save for Web dialog box in Photoshop CS that
my file name contained non-Latin characters? Well, being a clever so-and-so,
I finally found the problem, and the solution. I found that I only get the
warning if I save to a folder that has a bullet point at the start of the
name,.

You may ask why use bullet points to denote folders. Well, on the Mac, it's
an easy way to line up your folders and/or to separate them from the files
(the Mac won't display folders at the top of a tree otherwise - some
interface designer is still living in the 20th century, I guess).

The warning "Some names of the files being saved contain non-Latin
characters" obviously has no relation to the file name and is being
triggered erroneously. FWIW, I think Adobe were remiss NOT to include a
checkbox for not seeing the dialog again (over the last week or so, I
must've clicked it some 100-150 times!). So, beware of non-Latin
characters...

Thanks to everyone who tried to help off list.
