Hi Chris,
Go for the D100 and you'll never look back!
Nikon Capture 4 is a must have. To compliment this a Hewlett Packard 9650 will produce superb A3s better that you could ever make by hand with 75 years longevity (you will be able to sue 'em if they don't last that long!).

A spare battery and charger is vital, although battery life is phenomenal, it may well be affected by temperatures if you work outdoors in Norway.
Hope I have spent enough of your money...!
John

My question is what do i need to buy to get started? I am looking at a nikon D100 on cost grounds, I dont have the budgett and the jobs dont justify anything more expensive, and I believe it fits the analog lenses, but what about extra memory cards battery chargers laptops download software etc etc all of which i have absolutly no clue about.
