(I sent this yesterday, but I think it got lost - appols if it is a duplicate)

Hi

I've found the Photoshop web gallery very useful for generating resized
pictures and especially the thumbnail images -- I may not use its html code,
but the images are fine.

Some extras I'd add are a degree of sharpening (lots on the thumbnails) and
usually making sure the main images are in sRGB with an embedded profile. The
profile does make a difference for those browsers that can use it.

I've used nik sharpener pro's web settings for some images, but I find the
degree of sharpening needs to be varied with subject matter and image size.

If it's of any help I have a page about web photo use (sharpening, colour
management etc) at <http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/webcolor.html> ... it
was originally put together for some of my teaching work

bye for now
