Just starting to dive in to the plethora of raw files I have backed up

upsizing the d100 raw files. Whats best to use of all of the three above
please. I thought the upsizing in cs would be good as its all in 16 bit.

Hi Ian,
I can only give you the info from my own non scientific tests and use. I have used all of the Alamy recommended methods! The best results I seem to get are when I use the Adobe raw converter, It is much better than using Nikon editor, then resizing.
The extensis software is a nice photoshop plugin but no better than Adobe raw, the same can be said for S Spline and GF.
Professional Photography magazine did an article about stair interpolation and basically discredited any benefit of using it, along with pics to prove the point.
If you are using Photoshop CS, if you upsize using bicubic smooth it give excellent results (they seem to compare very well with the plugin software), downsize using bicubic sharp.
As I say these are just my findings, others will possibly disagree....hope it helps though.
Kind regards

Rob
