If you mean to place multiple images on the same sheet, Proofmaster 2x
has that option - it's called Nesting.
>layout multiple different size photos on the page, scale them and
>rotate them individually .
scaling images individually is not an option, as far as I know.
Proofmaster can <nest> images by either waiting for a set time or for a
set length of paper to be filled before firing a nesting operation for
images in the hotfolder, thus printing a number of images on one sheet
of paper. Rotation is automatic and based on best use of paper area
AFAIK.
>It must be able to put
>the file name of each shot underneath each photo.
>It can run on any OS but preferably mac.
yes OSX, best on a dedicated machine of course.
Proofmaster can be requested to add a <job ticket> to every image, the
image name is part of that ticket. The other items in the ticket as
standard are rip settings, one has the option to add a logo and control
strip too. We usually add the FOGRA control strip.
Both Thomas [Holm ( www.pixl.dk )] and I have done quite a few
Proofmaster / Epson installations, many of which have been ISO proof
compatable [i.e. capable of producing a certified proof to ISO
standards using the latest ECI CMYK colour spaces.]
Both Thomas and I are Proofmaster and Epson resellers, anyone wants
prices please contact either of us offlist.
