Hi,

The recent thread about Apple woes prompted this. The following link is about a guy who lost everything in trying to transfer from an iPod to a new PowerBook. Most of his archive appears to have been music, so is the problem he had solely because of Apple's copyright protection policies? Or if the iPod contained all images, could the same have happened?

I ask, because, like many others, I'm thinking of using an iPod for holding images, and this worries me. Any thoughts? (OK, he should have backed it all up, but then perhaps because of copyright protection this is not possible, I don't know how it works)

Many thanks,
David
