I know it's been said before, and I don't know what kind of photography you do, but I would strongly recommend a laptop rather than a storage device. Once you start buying extra batteries for the device, surely the cost must start reaching that of, as was suggested earlier, of an entry level iBook. I used an iBook (which is slower than any model now available) on location for two years, and the ability to view images at full size within minutes (not to mention organising and selecting images during breaks in shooting) is invaluable. You can also shoot tethered directly from the computer to add even more control.

If you're climbing Everest you can ignore the above; I just haven't heard much positive said about any storage devices.
