Hi Paul, Can you see them in the system profiler? Printing in Classic, right? Are they connected to a hub or a USB card? If it's Classic, have you tried rebuilding the desktop in System Preferences? Restarted in single user mode and done a force file check? Oldish G4? Maybe the USB port has gone and you need to buy a USB card - good idea anyway as it has 3 ports and is much more reliable than a hub...
