Do both printers actually work, but only one at a time? ie If you switch on just the required printer, can you at least finish the job you needed as it will be the only one to appear in the chooser? The other possibility which I'm sure you will have checked is not the USB port connection on the PC but on the printer itself. It is IN isn't it, not simply pulled out? I assume it would give a communication error anyway of this was the case. The Colour Profile can be set for either printer using the same dialogue box so CM shouldn't be a problem.
