Particularly since that was the first posting by a new member to the list and also because the gentleman concerned comes nowhere near the description of what you attribute to those who have that qualification. Equally there are several on this list who have that qualification and more if you did but know it and few if any fit the description you have labelled them with. More over, the gentleman concerned probably has far more experience than you in the field of various photographic techniques - all of which could be very valuable to this list. A little more grace would do no harm, in that there are photographers for whom qualifications are important, as it gives them a bench mark of their own ability. For others it is not important, believing perhaps that their ability to win clients and work is a better judge of their talent and worth. Each to their own and it is not for you to judge. You have lost much credibility in a short stroke of the keys.
