Darrin Have you checked the position of the 2 little bits of blue foam that insert down the front of each cart?
If these are pushed down too far, the trip switch they fool into thinking a new cart's been installed is depressed too far, causing the printer to think the cart is incorrectly inserted. If you move the bits of foam up and down (mine are just proud of the top of the cart) with the printer turned on, you can see the 'ink out' lights for the corresponding cart going on and off. Hope this helps.
