I am no techie either Michael. I just had CS hang doing a batch process with
a "Save" command in the job. Same thing, PSCS couldn't save the file because
it was in use. I will have to look into this, although I dread spending more
money on this seemingly insatiable beast called Digital Photography. So far
camera, accessories, computor, SW upgrades etc etc are nudging $8000AUS with
much more still on my list. And this only because I bought a relatively
cheap Nikon D70 to experiment with to see how it fits into my workflow and
what problems or features I will need to look out for when I get a "proper"
digital camera system later this year!

The computor is a new system only 2 months old, substantially (heaps) faster
than my previous system running win98. It too is single Hard drive unit and
never encountered this type of problem. Although it had all sorts of OTHER
problems!!!
