Hi all,
One of those frustrating and problems you don't want late at night, pushing
a deadline! Working on a large psd file, 140Mb, single layer RGB. After 1/2
hour or so of retouching, go to save file and it goes through its save
steps, the progress bar goes to completion then Photoshop CS refuses to save
with the following message:

Could not save "\...\file name.psd" because the file is already in use or
was left open.",

After some sweaty moments I managed to do a "Save as" with a different file
name. I have had this message a couple of times before when trying to save
and also when trying to delete files via the file open window. (I only
upgraded to CS a week ago)

This is more of an irritation than anything but it always gives me a shock
when PS misbehaves as it is usually such a sweet well behaved program and
perhaps means their is something wrong. I thought maybe the file browser is
updating itself, but even after a 10 minute wait the same thing happens.
System: Windoze XP home/Pentium4, 3Ghz HT/ 1.5GB ddr ram, 75% to PShop/
200GB HD/ nothing else open whilst photoshopping.

I will report the fault to Adobe, but I am hoping someone has struck this
before and can help.
Thanks in advance!

Frank Styevko from Australia
