No but MacJanitor, which you say you used, is the same-ish if not the same.
It runs the scripts that the OS would if it was awake.

You can run the scripts manually by opening Terminal and running the
following commands:
 sudo periodic daily
 sudo periodic weekly
 sudo periodic monthly

Sure sounds like a raid problem and not an OS problem.
