Francis Others will give you an answer to your CS problem, what I can say is that 38.7 MB is right for an 8 bit tiff. If you are testing then why not work with Photodesk. <http://wwwuk.kodak.com/global/en/professional/support/DCS/dcsRegister/downl oadIndex.shtml> Its free you just need to give an e-mail address. Needs OSX but as you have CS then you must have OSX. I can run it on a G3 laptop running OSX its not fast but useable. I will also say that unless you have your heart set on a 14n, think very long and hard about the pro SLRn. I tested the 14n and a 14nx, the pro SLRn is a much better camera, and I am very pleased with it. Getting great results for the sort of work I shoot. There are some issues with the handeling especially no flash on 'longer' exposure mode, and problems with the chin of the camera fouling tripods, but not as great a problem as I feared.
