Hi I have something that sounds almost identical from Tetanal. If you give it a real blast close to a surface I find that the cooling effect causes moisture to condense out on the surface. The cold surface then inhibits evaporation of the moisture which takes a while to clear.
I tested the device on several glass surfaces to start with and found that small puffs, with the nozzle half an inch from the surface did not cause the effect. I practised on one or two old filters before having a go on my 1Ds. I've only used it to remove the odd large bit of dust (ie easily visible to the naked eye) that has gotten in. For the tiny specks that collect, I'd rather get the camera cleaned. bye for now Keith Cooper Northlight Images http://www.northlight-images.co.uk Photography - Digital Imaging - Apple Mac Consultancy Tel +44 (0)116 291 9092 Mobile +44 (0)780 162 9397 =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
