Reading your post I had ran Onyx set at his maximum strength, then DiskWarrior and had de-fragmented, running the lens blur filter with the same settings on a different picture brought me with a 58 minutes processing time, 100 % efficiency...
They are Octagon, Radius 100, Curving 100 Brightness 1 Threshold 54, Uniform noise 11.
If I reduce Radius to 20 or 30 I am closer to your results and the filter run fast but the timing is wrong and display a higher number. If I set everything to 0 with the Radius at 30 I am as fast as you.
So speed seems related to the settings, at least for me.
BTW: beside the timing I got a number which differs from the efficiency which in my case is always 100 %, it's in a range of 60/90 %, seeking the help or manual don't get me the answer for what it means, I red it somewhere but didn't succeed to remember.
