> How do you go about profiling a printer when > you're going to use quad black inks?
Hi I used to use Lyson SG inks quite a bit and found the supplied profiles quite good. I was not able to get the quad blacks to give a good response at all. That was before the likes of Roy Harrington's Quad tone RIP which can be set up very well if you have a densitometer (there is even a beta win version available now) <http://www.harrington.com/QuadToneRIP.html> There are people who will profile b/w for you, but expect to pay extra for all the work that goes into getting good b/w bye for now Keith Cooper =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
