Mike,
My advice would be to speak to John Read at Marrutt - he's a very helpful
guy. I only have experience of using Lyson small gamut inksets but found
that the canned profiles from Marrutt gave varying results depending on the
type of paper used. In the end I decided to bite the bullet and get my 1160
profiled for Lyson small gamut ink on each of the three different papers I
use. No looking back! - the results are perfect and with small gamut I also
have the option to produce good sepia, selenium or split-tone images. Udo
Machiels of Atmos designs did all my profiling - another really helpful
character (Tel: 01342 300839).
