If you truly feel as you are coming across, then you can always start your
own list - send out an invite to those you think worthy. You could charge
for your posts. After all I do not believe anyone is holding a gun to your
head and demand that you answer people problems. It is always your choice
to post or not to post. And what on earth is wrong with lurking? How on
earth has anyone lurking affected or hurt you?
If all you are after is better list etiquette then say so. Being
'Professional' does not stop someone lurking, nor make them have better list
manners, nor indeed make the, necessarily any more or better value to a list
than someone who has much knowledge and is willing to impart it but is only
a part-timer. Indeed I would prefer the latter to someone who begrudges his
own contributions, or over values himself! :)
