I have been on this list for about 3 or 4 years . In that time I have been helped , ridiculed , flamed (a bit ) had the mick taken , taken the mick, got cross with people , had people get cross with me , got concise answers to badly worded questions , had badly worded answers to concise questions. I have laughed like a drain at/with some very funny people , been told off for being frivolous , been congratulated for posts , and thanked , on and off list.
I have ignored posts because I was fed up , too busy , or they were not relevant to what I do . Sometimes I think people take themselves to seriously , and visa versa . But I'm still here !
Sometimes I answer posts , sometimes I am too busy.
but mostly I HAVE LEARNT AND BEEN HELPED !!
There is a huge amount of knowledge here , I have unsubscribed from all other lists I have joined ,( other than two to do with sailing).
This is not too bad , maybe a bit slow sometimes , but I for one would hate to see it change too much .
