Yo DIG - Long time no post.

I have been listening in for awhile now after saying quite a lot for a
couple of years. Most of it, erudite and often funny, is in the Pro_DIG
archives. All solid material that checks out 20/20. It is out there. There
comes a point though, when you can feel that you have given enough.

Methinks that after getting together the myriad of digital basics, it is
better to address specifics via Google. I have revised and learned anew an
enormous amount about all aspects of photography and imaging by my own
diligence. It is easy to learn this way.

What is more demanding is to go beyond the shiny surface of digital to do
something really special with it, and mainly you are on your own, often in
unique circumstances. I found Pro-DIG enormously useful to connect all the
links in my learning of digital. Now I am here, on my own again. Except I
feel fully confident and knowledgeable in what I do.

Not enough Pro-DIGgers ask 'out-of-the-box' questions. So much about digital
is applied ingenuity with the same basic tools. It is here, it is
established and, well let's say I happily get on with it.

I think it is up to the lurkers to make Pro-DIG more their own forum by
simply contributing more. Of course the nature of a list will change. It
does not matter if people move on, they are just elsewhere. Others will take
their place when they discover they have a voice.
