I would like to second this very strongly.
I can't be the only one who has noticed that the volume of postings has dropped dramatically over the last six months or so. I put this down to some very over-zealous moderators.
If threads are of no interest to subscribers, they (the threads! :-) will quickly die a natural death without intervention by mods.
