Just a final thought for anyone with film that's been through the "mangle" and has suffered creasing, folding, tearing etc., drum scanning can work wonders in the rescue department.

Just an example of what is possible.... we have successfully drum scanned a credit card. Big deal I hear some saying, but realize that if one can pull a stiff credit card into close contact with the scanning drum, just think how easily we can do this with a thin piece of film......gone are your creases and no focus problems!
