Hi all,

on a related topic...
as the light levels fall with the onset of winter I am finding myself using a higher ISO on my 1DS (this is our first winter together ;-} ). I usually work at ISO 100 or 200 but recently had to shoot indoor portraits for a client at 400 ISO (natural light nightmare). They want it to go to A3 but there seems to be A LOT of digital noise after sharpening - so much so that I am beginning to wonder what is normal from this camera. (I have used various techniques to reduce noise, including the options in RAW, blurring a and b channels in LAB mode etc).

At A3 the prints definitely look very grainy - is this normal at 400 ISO?

Thanks in advance
