Consider a NAS like the Drobo FS NAS server - Serial ATA-300 as cheaper storage. Are you going to convert over to a RDBMS in the next few years replacing .dbf? If so consider one virtual being just your database and that db needs two spindles on your raid for killer performance. What is the db for your DocMgmt system?
